Unable to access website through CNAME record

After receiving a top level domain, I set my name servers to CloudFlare’s, set up my CNAME to point to my 000webhost website, and then changed my settings in my dashboard to reflect these changes.
Both @ and www have been set up.

Any DNS check I use shows www.criticalgenesis.com has a CNAME record pointing to critical-genesis.000webhostapp.com

My Dashboard is set up to use criticalgenesis.com and www.criticalgenesis.com

However, neither of these actually work. Instead I get the error:

This site can’t be reached

www.criticalgenesis.com’s server DNS address could not be found.
Search Google for critical genesis
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

I can’t for the life of me figure out what’s wrong.

http://www.criticalgenesis.com/ Loads fine on my end,
clear your browser cache, hit CTRL+F5 and flush your DNS

Not working man. i have the same issue.

So, I ended up having to change my DNS. Flushing it didn’t do it for some reason. Maybe the DNS I was using hadn’t actually had the changes propagated? If that’s even a thing?

It’s odd. It works on a different DNS, but my regular DNS doesn’t work. Maybe it’s not fully propagated?

But you still using 000webhosts dns?

I’m not! I’m actually on Google’s DNS. Their DNS seems to find the changes just fine where the DNS automatically assigned didn’t get the changes.

Okay? i dont get you but uhh… COOL
