Still sat here 24 hrs later and the “Our mailserver is currently on the maintenance” still showing. When I eventually get back into my mail can I just set up a redirect to a different account off this server and be able to access it or as It goes through here will it not get redirected due to downtime??? I really needed to acces my mail today. Very depressed !!!

You can sign up to Google Apps and redirect your mail to their servers by changing your MX Record located in your cpanel. You will still use your domain suffix and you will be able to use your email as if it was a Gmail account meaning you can access docs, calendar, etc and create 50 email addresses.
