my website load speed is too slow, I’m having problems verifying with google webmasters tools as it can’t verify my website. it keeps saying server time out

Your website is just working fine but slow and there couldn’t be any issue while verification because website speed doesn’t matter in verification.
Try clearing your browsers cache or use a VPN

using a vpn, I don’t think location has anything to do with this. it’s like there’s something blocking the meta tag from the Google robots

Make sure website is accessible and doesn’t have any hotlink protection.

same error, and my website doesn’t open normally with https. guess I should create a page rule with cloudflare or something?
May be that should not work, enable SSL for your website and then try again.
or try to submit with “http”, instead of “https”.
