It looks to be a server error normally the script would be the issue causing it though.
I believe :
putenv() is disabled on the free plan which Laravel requires to run correctly.

I would highly recommend finding another free host which would allow the use of putenv to allow Laravel .env file to run correctly.
I know 100% Laravel functions fine on premium.
You had a
.htaccess syntax error which was causing the Application Error 500, however you had deployed your Laravel project incorrectly as well.
