Application error unable to open website and admin page

Hi Team,

I am getting the Application error while accessing my website as well as the wpadmin page

An error occurred in the website and your page could not be displayed. If you are the website owner, check your logs for details.

I have checked the website logs, but there is no information.
I went through the solutions provided in the forum such as

Deleted the folder wp-content / plugins /w3-total-cache

Deleted the wp-content/advanced-cache.php file

But unfortunately nothing worked, Can you please help.

I deleted the .htaccess file
Now its working like a charm

is it fine if .htaccess is deleted?

and now
only index page is working
for other pages its showing error404

some one please help…!

Copied .htaccess from another website hosted on 000website
its fine now

Hi as in future don’t delete .htaccess file but if you have deleted it then just go to your wp admin panel.

Settings>>general>>save changes
It will automatically generate new .htaccess file.
