Can't access to my Database

Hello, i’m new to PHP, i’m trying to access my database via PDO with the cPanel’s credentials but it doesnt work. tried to check plenty of post on internet but still didnt figure out why.

Maybe it’s in my code so i tried these two ways :

Seems something goes wrong with your code. Can you tell me your web address? I highly doubt you are calling the connect method with root username and empty password
