If i purchased: Single Shared Hosting:
Would I be able to have 000webhost do all of the following:

  • Host my domain name
  • Host my website such that it the website URL is my domain name and not a sub-domain of 000webhost
  • Enable MX and A record pointing to google email servers (as they do now with 123-reg) such that I can continue use gmail as a client for my email
  • If my email is hosted with google, will I have any issues after 6 months (my understanding is that if I hosted my mail with 000webhost I would be charged after 6 months)

Other than renewal costs and assuming I dont buy anything else or exceed any limits of use, will i be charged for anything else after a period of time or is my initial cost my full cost for the period I choose to buy?

You can do all of that, unsure on your email comment, if you use alternative MX record then you manage your email elsewhere.
