Email Forwarding in the free version

Hi team,

I saw in this article that the email forwarding is possible on the free version of 000webhost : How to create email forwarder
But when I’m going in my Cpanel of my website (Domain name : mariagenicogwen.000webhostapp .com/ )
The email forwarding option is in gray and the cpanel purpose to upgrade to premium version.
Could you explain to me if we can use one email forwarding with the free version ? if yes how can I do ?

You can use third party like ImprovMX and set MX record at your domain registrar for free?

Thanks for your answer but it seems in the cpanel that the MX record need a premium version too and seems not possible in free version…

You set your MX record directly at your domain registrar instead for free.
