Every time I want to download my site as a backup with FTP, I have to hope 000webhost doesn’t disconnect (often happens within less than a minute). So I finish with only half my site, and have to start over. Why is this happening?
6th try… Even creates directories that aren’t there.
My FTP warns something like ‘peer/client disconnected’. So I can’t just download a folder with like 500 images, the connection just ends.
The way I solved it, was download 5 folders (30 images all together). Then disconnect myself, connect again, download the next 5 folders, and so on.
If I try to do download all of them at once, it not only disconnects, but some images in folders are missing, or it even creates twice a thumbs folder, or it doubles some images (some of which can’t be opened). This last thing might be an issue of the FTP I use, but in years never had any trouble with it.
