I have an assignment where me and my group are building a page. Is there a way to create specific users to access file manager for each individual members?

We don’t have the ability to support that, not at this time at least. I will recommend it though. 
For the time being, you could always share your FTP password with your group once and they can connect via FTP. 
If you upgrade to Hostinger, we do have the sharing option included where you can share access to your hosting account with anyone that has an email address.
