How to change root directory for site?

I’m installing laravel site, and root directory for it is /public. I can’t do redirect, because /public folder can be a root directory (ex. http://site.com = /public_html/public/index.php). How can i do this?

Hi @zaqqq13!

  1. The home directory of your website is displayed in 000webhost cPanel > locate website > Details > Home directory

  2. The website root is Home Directory/public_html

  3. To change the path in Laravel please go to /bootstrap/paths.php and replace /public with /public_html

I’m noob, but how can i open cpanel? I have that window and i don’t see that. Thanks :slight_smile:

Go to https://www.000webhost.com/members. That is the main cPanel.

Locate test-eat and click on Details – “Детали”
