I am seaching for a free top-level domain

Hi people. Can you help me where to get a free domain (no surveys or refferals). I agree putting text links on the site or creating a separate section for the domain provider.

You can use .tk domains for free.

What about .com ones? Do you know of a site allowing .com domain?

Unlikely. Why don’t you just purchase one? You’ll have full control over it and they only cost cents nowadays.

But I am still 13 years old. My parents won’t agree paying 10 dollars for a domain. Here in Bulgaria 10 dollars are 20 bucks. Too much.

Then why don’t you just use a .tk domain?

I am not a fan of .tk because of the ‘‘25 hits per 90 days’’ requirement. My site is not popular. But if .tk is the only alternative I’ll think about bringing traffic to site.

Don’t forget that google and other search engine spiders count as visitors.

If you think so.

http://www.internetbs.net/ are quite cheap.

I will check them.

Will you buy a domain Chico?

Remember those 25 hits do not have to true visitors it can be just you looking at your website and testing how it works.

the closest you’ll get is a .tk or you can try www.co.cc

In late 2012/early 2013, the dotFreeGroup will give out free .free domains, if you can wait that long :stuck_out_tongue:
http://dotfree.com/

you can get a .info for $2 dollars at go daddy.com :stuck_out_tongue:

I currently have some free domains. such as *.co.cc, *.cz.cc, *.tk.
They are cost-free and you can control them as you want.
They support custom DNS.
http://co.cc
http://cz.cc
http://dot.tk

And you can easily control the custom DNS at http://www.dnsever.com .
It is came from South Korea, but It is a global service, which means another language, English, supported.

Enjoy it!

I think that .tk domains are free… but for really cheap you could go to active-domain.com… They have pretty cheap prices.

I use .co.cc and they’ve been okay so far. thinking about leaving godaddy.

I preregistered timetakernet.free with them. Waiting to get my domain.
