I actually already have a domain name registered with 1&1.
I want to point that to my new website myname. 000webhost .com but I am using https redirect, so the name displayed in the bar will be myname. 000webhost. com
I thought about using Frame redirect but, ugh, thats not the best option. And I get “refused to connect” if I try and navigate away, which is confusing why.
Any ideas how I can lose the .000webhost.com appendage?
(I am looking at the Free hosting plan at present)
If you’ve got a domain like bansaw.com then simply using 1&1 set your nameservers to ns01.000webhost.com and ns02.000webhost.com
Then at 000webhost.com > Website Manager > Set Web Address > Add domain > bansaw.com for example > Park domain > Link to your 000webhostapp URL.
Then any scripts on your 000webhostAPP configure them to use bansaw.com for example
