hello i bought a domain on namecheap and i setup the domain on namecheap with the custom DNS ns01. 000webhost .com and ns02. 000webhost .com and the support told me that the support on 000webhost should double check if it works

adderallfordays.000webhostapp.com (webhost app)

If you have set the custom ns to
ns01.000webhost.com and ns02.000webhost.com then you should wait for 48 hours until dns propagate globally.

i have done that, will it automatically work after 48 hours now?

they told me to create the A record (point the domain to an IP address). but i dont know how

Try pointing using cname records.
@ adderallfordays.000webhostapp.com
www adderallfordays.000webhostapp.com

  1. Set the nameservers to basic dns.

  2. Go to advanced DNS

  3. Delete all records and add these records.
    @ adderallfordays.000webhostapp.com
    www adderallfordays.000webhostapp.com

there is a dot in the end of 000webhost.com. do i add that?

No simply add the URL that i gave you.

Now go to your 000webhost dashboard and point the domain.

Click on manage website > set web address > add domain > point domain
