I’m using Piwigo, an image database. It recommends using ImageMagick rather than a gd graphic library for additional functionality. It also states that ImageMagick should be installed on my server. Does anyone know if this can be accessed via 000webhost?

Hi you can try installing it. And as it is not mandatory but recommended so you can even skip it and can use gd library
It’s not visible in my phpinfo() output, so I would guess no (run <?php phpinfo(); in a PHP file if you want to see what is installed). It’s a compiled binary, so you cannot install it yourself.
It’s not possible to run binary on the 000webhost servers for security reasons.
Guys, really sorry. You can not run ImageMagick extension on 000webhost as it is a free host.
I think only solution is buying a VPS. hostinger.com/vps-hosting. I have no idea whether it’s available on our shared hosting in Hostinger. If you need to know about that I’ll let you know.
However, 000webhost does not support ImageMagick extension.
