WordPress installation screen apearing on (previously) normal working website

Hello.

I’ve installed Wordpress through 000webhost panel and I’ve been successfully using it for a few days now. I’ve installed thermes, plugins etc.

After installing some optimization, backup and security plugins (Smush, UpdraftPlus, Wordfence) the site still worked normaly, but then the Wordpress installation screen appeared all of a sudden in my subdomain. (Screenshot)

I can’t access my Wordpress dashboard anymore. It is strange, because, when I check the situation in 000webhosting File manager, all the existing Wordpress files are still there.

How can this be solved?

WordPress Installation Page / Rate Limiting Issue

It seems something has changed lately within WordPress and for a lot of users when WordPress cannot communicate with the database (due to rate limiting) then it displays the WordPress installation page - which is slightly confusing! Whereas before it would be an endless loading page, bad gateway error or the correct “Unable to select / connect to xyz database” When your free account exceeds the hourly database limitations which are set on the free plan, your database is simply frozen, no action…

Thank you, yes that seems to be it.

Because after an hour or so the website started working again.

That’s “Wordpress installation screen” is very confusing btw, because this happened to me twice before and both times I then deleted the entire website and reinstall and design it from the beginning.

If I would have known this I would just wait an hour and everything would be solved.

Also if some other normal error would be displayed I wouldn’t delete the whole webisite as well because of it.
