Problem with SSL certificate after buying a domain

Hi fellows,

I hosted my website in 000webhost and bought a domain name for my website in Hostinger. After that, I started having issues do access my new website address. I receive the error message “NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID” saying that my connection is not private. I know that there is something to do with the SSL certificate but I do not know how to solve it.

Best wishes,

Jess

Hi!

Parked/custom domains aren’t covered by the free SSL/HTTPS offered on our 000webhostapp addresses.

I have forced HTTP on your parked/custom domain which should hide any errors.

If you want HTTPS/SSL on your parked/custom domain then follow this tutorial for setting up CloudFlare, you will NEED TO REMOVE/UNLINK your domain from the 000webhost panel completely then add it back as “pointed/CNAME” for CloudFlare to function and the orange clouds must be turned off to grey until the domain is pointed and registered on the 000webhost panel.
